I loved d2, but i dont want d4 to be another d2 (i even enjoyed d3 to a degree) but build on what was good, dont copy paste, evolve. This means you can play as a male or female of any of the Diablo IV classes.

Unlike Diablo II and Diablo II: Resurrected, classes can be either gender in Diablo IV. i mean gameplaywise they would and should totally revamp him anyway and they would pick something more like the crusader from d3 skillwise is my guess.īut im horrible that way, i wouldnt want the necro to return to have hoards of pets this time around (i could go for 1 persistent pet revived/golem, but req active gameplay of some sort, not passevly sitting back), but i would rather love a focus on curses, blood/bone and none persistent necro death stuff, like ghosts doing some attack, but no skeleton army. The answer is noclasses are not gender-locked in Diablo IV, and you can change every class’s gender in character creation. hammer spam and auras, i see the need for a sword&board style type of a class, but no, come on. I could go for "Hunter" or "Ranger" as class name plain and simple, spears, bows/crossbows, traps, no pets mid-long range with a new set of skills.

Im not a fan of either paladin or amazon for d4, amazon cause omg dont gender lock a class in d4 and in a way it just felt like it was a female warrior take on the barbarian in d2 since classes was gender locked (not the gameplay ofc), would rather see something like the demon hunter or something evolved from it. The answer is no classes are not gender-locked in Diablo IV, and you can change every class's gender in character creation.
